Spinnaker Make Bandstand Appearance at Dolls House
Spinnaker Brass made its first appearance at a Dolls House Show today.

GoFar, the Gosport and Fareham Dolls House Club in conjunction with Victory Model Railway Club hosted a joint dolls house and model railway exhibition at the Portchester Community Centre today. As part of the exhibition a magnificent beach scene was displayed. This included a bandstand constructed by club member Tracey George. Appearing on the bandstand were Spinnaker's newest members, Tom, Dick and Harry. Uniforms for the three players were created by Rosemary Cooper and were modelled on the Spinnaker Brass uniform. Completing the lineup was a poster advertising this year's Proms Concert in aid of the Mayor of Fareham's Charities 2011-2012.
The band stand completed a full lineup including beach-huts, cafe's a the all important bathers, sun-seekers and, of course, Spinnaker's loyal fans.

We welcome Sam Hairsine, a young, talented member of the Royal Marines Music Corps. Sam is a euphonium player and has studied under the mighty Dr. Robert Childs of Cory fame. Sam then joined the Royal Marines and has recently successfully complete his M1 course.
We are pleased to have appointed such a skilled and talented musician. Sam will be helping us to grow the band over the coming months. We look forward to performing to you with Sam very soon.
